INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Chedda, a financial education platform developed by Recrear Holdings LLC (United States). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chedda mobile application (the “App”) and associated website (the “Site”), designed to empower children and parents with financial education, wealth-building mindsets, and practical money skills in a fun, interactive way.

Parents or legal guardians (“Parents”) must review these Terms with their children (“Child Users”) before using Chedda. By accessing or using Chedda, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. HOW CHEDDA WORKS

Chedda provides:

Financial Education: Fun activities, challenges, and quests to teach children about money.
Parental Oversight: Full control and monitoring of all transactions and activities by Parents.
Goal-Based Learning: Children set financial goals and save toward them through tasks and chores.
Real Money Movement: Parents fund wallets; children use funds for purchases under parental supervision.

Key Features:

Earning & Spending: Children earn real money by completing tasks, subject to parental approval.
Investment Learning: Educational content on investing (where legally allowed).

2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNT SETUP

Parents: Must be 18+ years and legally authorized to manage finances for the child.
Child Users: Must be under 18 and linked to a Parent account.
Account Creation:
- Parents register, verify identity (KYC where required).
- Child accounts are linked to Parent accounts.
Responsibility: Parents are fully responsible for all activities in their account and their child’s account.

3. LEGAL & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

United States Users: Governed by U.S. laws including:
- COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)
- Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA)
African Users: Governed by applicable local regulations (e.g., FSCA in South Africa, CBN guidelines in Nigeria).
GDPR: Applies to users in the EU and Africa for data protection.
Parental Consent: Mandatory for all Child User participation.

4. FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

All funds flow Parent Payment Method → Parent Wallet → Child Wallet.
The App does NOT operate as a bank; funds are limited to in-app purposes.
Parents approve every transaction before completion.
We are not liable for any external financial decisions made by users.

5. FEES, IN-APP PURCHASES & REFUNDS

Subscription Fees: Disclosed prior to enrollment.
In-App Purchases: Parents approve all purchases before they are processed.
Refund Policy:
- All completed purchases are final, except as required by law.
- Refund requests will be handled case-by-case at our discretion.
Processing Delays: Earnings payouts and refunds (where approved) may take several business days.

6. PRIVACY & DATA SECURITY

We comply with COPPA (U.S.) and GDPR (EU/Africa).
Parental consent is required for all child data collection.

7. PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Parents must actively supervise their child’s use of the App.
Failure to supervise releases us from liability for misuse.

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users must not:

Use Chedda for illegal purposes, fraud, or money laundering.
Share account access with unauthorized individuals.
Attempt to bypass security or exploit system bugs.
Provide false or misleading information.

Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, trademarks, and software on Chedda are the property of Recrear Holding LLC. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Chedda is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for:
- Loss due to parental negligence or failure to monitor.
- Unauthorized third-party access despite reasonable safeguards.
- Financial loss caused by user error.
- Regulatory penalties arising from user non-compliance.

11. TERMINATION & ACCOUNT CLOSURE

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Parents can request account closure at any time; remaining balances (if any) will be refunded according to our refund policy.

12. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Disputes will be resolved through arbitration before any litigation.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of Chedda means you accept the updated Terms.
